Kirk Garner is making his debut with Palm Canyon Theatre this season. His performing experience began with the sketch comedy troupe "The Unusual Suspects," writing sketches and performing many characters. Following this, he received certification as a voice over artist from Multimedia Arts and became a profession voice actor. Putting his acting career aside for a few years, he received his BA from UCSD in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts, and then his MFA from Mills College in Electronic Music and Recording Media. During this time he became an award winning avant-gaurde composer, studied classical voice, and gained performance experience as a singer. One year out of graduate school and hoping now to start a career in singing and acting, Kirk has joined the Equity Membership Candidacy program as an intern with Palm Canyon Theatre.
